Project Method

Perhaps one of the most exciting elements about web design is the method one takes to get to the finished product. If everything goes according to plan, you can experience one of the most amazing creations that you have ever set your eyes on.

The purpose of our methodology is to make sure your project goes as smoothly as possible. This methodology is presented in different branches so you can understand how we work.

  1. The first step to a new project here is the data collection. After you send your project brief to see if I am able to take on your project, and I answer, a few more steps are taken before we begin work.

Even if you have your own project briefing prepared, it is vital that you use the one provided online here at the studio. Answering those questions will help me get a better scope of what you need me to do for you, and to do it well.

We will generally go back and forth ironing out details and come to a project agreement. This can last for up to five days.

  2. Once we have all of the details ironed out, a plan will be generated outlining all project resources and deadlines.

This is a stage in the process that communication with the client is extremely important. We want to make sure everything is clear on both sides so that we can take an innovative approach to completing your project in a creative manner. After everything has been agreed upon, we can finally begin to put your project "in no bound".

You will then be granted access to our project management system which will allow you to view our progress with your project. As a result of this, we may conduct a few of the following with the client:

    Interviews

These are necessary so that we capture the full vision of the project from the client. We can discuss what is going on with the project, what might need changing and minor project changes or additional materials that can be sent in.

    Research and Analysis

We will work together with the client to go over if some of the previous content needs upgrading, how it can be executed in a more presentable manner, or if we'll have to start from scratch. This is also a part in the design process where color schemes will be assessed and research into competition will be conducted and evaluated.

  3. This is one of the most importanat parts of the process. I will hand draw a few sketches of potential designs for your project after we have done sufficient research to see the pest way to present your product or service.

    The Wireframe

After a sketch has been approved by the client, I will set up a wireframe that is basically a functional blueprint of the design. From there, I will be able to bring your vision to life.

  4. During this stage, I will begin to design based on the approved wireframes. At this time the client will be able to view that progress and change whatever is necessary. At the end of each week, the client will receive a report detailing everything that was done toward the project.

When that is completed, the client will be able to make revisions up to three times to ensure that it meets or exceeds desires.

  5. Once everything has been finished and revised, the design will be tested and looked over for any grammatical or code errors. If all is well, we will take the finished product and present it to the client.

We will then smile and celebrate a successful project design.
